Let’s Forgive Before Its Too Late

If you know that you would to die soon, what would you do?

Besides desiring mercy from our Allah swt, I would also wish to be forgiven by people I made mistakes to. Hence it is always good to have this as part of our daily reminders to forgive others.

In our Facebook Page..

We have actually set this prayer as a reminder on a daily basis at 10 pm each day.

Why Forgive?

We have to believe that for others to forgive you, we must first ask Allah swt for forgiveness and for us to forgive ourselves and others first. We shouldn’t be waiting for others to forgive us. Its must start from us.

As we live day by day, we can never know some of our mistakes to others because there are mistakes that we don’t even realise. And because of that, it irritated someone, made someone jealous and more. Whatever it is that hurts that person’s heart, let’s learn to forgive them first.

In some studies it shows that the reason people don’t move on with their lives and stuck in situations is because they are not able to forgive. Ending up in unnecessary stress and ending up in a mess. Let’s do our best not to get into those state.

Writing it here is easy but doing this could take a few minutes for us or for some or it may take years. Hence the reason we are always reminding ourselves about it daily…

دعاء أول الســنـة

بــســم الله الرحمـن الرحيم

اَلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ. اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ وَسَلِّمْ عَلَى سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى آلِهِ وَصَحْبِهِ أَجْمَعِيْنَ. اَللَّهُمَّ إِنَّا قَدْ مَدَدْنَا يَدَ افْتِقَارِنَا فِى لَيْلِنَا وَنَهَارِنَا مُتَوَسِّلاً بِكَ وَإِلَيْكَ، وَطَامِعًا فِيْكَ وَفِيْمَا لَدَيْكَ، وَرَاغِبًا فِيْكَ وَفِيْمَا عِنْدَكَ. وَقَدِ اسْـتَقْبَلَنَا عَامٌ جَدِيْدٌ تَصْرِفُنَا فِيْهِ أَقْدَارُكَ وَتُحَرِّكُنَا فِيْهِ إِرَادَتُكَ وَقُدْرَتُكَ، وَقَدْ مَدَدْنَا أَكُفَّ اْلإِبْتِهَالِ إِلَيْكَ، وَعَوَّلْنَا فِى مَطَالِبِنَا كُلِّهَا عَلَيْكَ، وَقَدَّمْنَا فِى وِجْهَتِنَا أَشْرَفَ الْوَسَائِلِ إِلَيْكَ، وَقَدْ أَطْمَعَتْنَا مُعَامَلَتُكَ لَنَا فِيْمَا مَضَـى مِنْ عُمْرِنَا، أَنْ تُبْـقِيَ سِتْرَكَ الْجَمِيْلَ عَلَيْنَا وَمَدَدَكَ الْوَافِرَ لَدَيْنَا، وَأَنْ تُبْدِيَ فِى جَسَدِنَا وَقُلُوْبِنَا وَجَوَارِحِنَا قُوَّةً نَاهِضَةً وَهَبْتَهَا اْلأَقْوِيَاءَ مِنْ خَاصَّةِ عِبَادِكَ نَتَنَعَّمُ بِهَا فِى مَظَاهِرِ أَجْسَامِنَا وَمَظَاهِرِ أَرْوَاحِنَا، وَتَهَبَ لَنَا بِهَا انْشِرَاحًا فِى صُدُوْرِنَا وَقُوَّةً فِى يَقِيْنِنَا وَثَبَاتًا فِى دِيْنِنَا وَصَلاَحًا فِى سَرِيْرَتِنَا وَعَلاَنِيَّتِنَا. وَأَذْهِبْ عَنَّا كُلَّ هَـمٍّ وَغَـمٍّ وَضِيْقِ صَدْرٍ وَحُزْنٍ، وَاجْعَلْ عَلَيْنَا وَاقِيَةً مِنْ حِفْظِكَ وَرِعَايَتِكَ تُقِيْنَا جَمِيْعَ اْلأَسْوَاءِ وَجَمِيْعَ الْهُمُوْمِ وَجَمِيْعَ اْلأَكْدَارِ.

اَللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْ تَضَرُّعَنَا وَابْتِهَالَنَا وَاقْبَلْ تَوَجُّهَنَا فِى كُلِّ أَحْوَالِنَا يَا غِيَاثَ الْمُسْـتَغِيْثِيْنَ أَغِثْنَا وَيَا دَرْكَ الْهَالِكِيْنَ أَدْرِكْنَا. اَللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ هَذَا الْعَامَ الْجَدِيْدَ مُفْتَتَحًا بِالْفَرَجِ الْعَاجِلِ وَاللُّطْفِ الشَّامِلِ لَنَا وَلِلْمُسْلِمِيْنَ أَجْمَعِيْنَ وَابْسُطْ فِيْهِ يَا رَبِّ بِسَاطَ رَحْمَتِكَ الْخَاصَّةِ عَلَى عِبَادِكَ أَجْمَعِيْنَ رَحْمَةً يُذْهِبُ بِهَا الْقَحْطَ وَالْقَنَطَ وَالْهَمَّ، وَأَبْقِ يَا رَبِّ أَعْوَامَنَا الْمُسْتَقْبَلَةَ فِى مَسَرَّاتٍ وَأَفْرَاحٍ وَسُرُوْرٍ وَانْشِرَاحٍ نَلْتَقِطُ مِنْ تِلْكَ اْلأَوْقَاتِ صَفْوَ عَيْشِهَا وَنَعِيْمَ أُنْسِهَا. وَاجْعَلِ الْعَامَ الْقَابِلَ مِنْ أَبْرَكِ اْلأَعْوَامِ عَلَيْنَا وَأَشْرَفِهَا، وَاجْعَلْنَا فِيْهِ مِنْ أَسْعَدِ النَّاسِ بِكَ، وَأَوْجَهِ الْخَلْقِ لَدَيْكَ. وَاغْفِرْ يَارَبِّ جِنَايَتَنَا وَتَقَبَّلْ حَسَنَاتِنَا وَتَجَاوَزْ عَنْ سَيِّئَاتِنَا وَبَارِكْ فِى أَوْقَاتِنَا وَسَاعَاتِنَا وَحَرَكَاتِنَا وَسَكَنَاتِنَا. وَصَلَّى اللهُ عَلَى سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى آلِهِ وَصَحْبِهِ وَسَلَّمَ. وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ.

الفاتحة .

All praises be to Allah, Lord of all Universe. Praises be to Prophet Muhammad saw, his family and his companions.

Oh Allah, we raise our hands to You during the day and night and we seek the generosity of Your Bountiful wealth through your beautiful names and at this time when we are deep in love for You and all love that projects Your Greatness.

Oh Allah. The New Year is near as you how you had planned it be as qada and qadar in Loh Mahfuz. As your creation who constantly seeks your blessings. The coming of the New Year has given us yet another opportunity to raise our hands in prayer asking for Your Mercy. We seek only from You. We seek your continued guidance and knowledge just like how you have guided us throughout our life time. You have perfected our life and livelihood with your bountiful provisions. Please make us, our hearts as well as our physique strong just like how you have given strength to those whom you have chosen. Through this strength, we hope it be guard us against ill doings be it physically or spiritually. Oh Allah Al Mighty, we implore to your to grant us intellectual strength, peace, strength in our confidence, steadfastness in upholding our religion and goodness for ourselves and those amongst us.
Oh Allah, please protect us from anything that troubles us, thoughts that confuses us, experience that saddens us and narrows our hearts. Please safeguard us from all ill doings, harm and confusion. Oh Allah, we seek your Bounty to give what we have sought for, Oh Allah, Lord of those who gives assistance, please help us. Oh Protector of all harm, please protect us from harm and turmoil. Most Gracious, Most Merciful, please open this New Year with success, peace for us and all Muslim brothers who are working in your Cause. Please make the coming years with beautiful experience so that we can taste the nikmat in living. Let us be the happiest people with You. Oh Allah, please forgive us for all our wrongdoings and please accept our good deeds. Please bless our our actions and how we spend our time.

Oh Allah, please protect our country Singapore from harm. Please eradicate any source that may disrupt our peacefulness. Please help us to maintain our country’s peace and progress in your blessings, Lord of all Mighty.
