
Gear up for some fun and recreation this weekend to battle the stress away!
This Saturday 5 July, NUSMS is organising its annual Challenge Shield this time happening at East Coast Park.
The dudes will be playing Futsal while the dudettes will be playing Captain’s Ball.
Now, what is Singapore without our unique racial and cultural differences right?
This time around, in order to promote sports and ukhuwwah among youths anywhere (and anyone) in Singapore, every group must have at least one non-Muslim or non-Malay member in their team.
Bring your many friends along for a dynamic and fun weekend!
When? Saturday 5 July, 9 am – 5 pm.
Where? Sports Planet @ East Coast Park
(Beside Burger King & Long Beach Seafood
1018 East Coast Service Road)
How much? $90.00 per team of 7 people for guys, 9 for girls.
Team members must be of 16 – 30 years old.

Challenge Shield is back!
The full-day event that will be held at East Coast Park is held annually by NUS Muslim Society. This year however, each team is required to have at least 1 non-Muslim or non-Malay to participate. Get your non-Muslim, non-Malay friends to join you and have a chance to exhibit Islam at the same time!
Challenge Shield is meant to promote healthy living & to encourage sports and simultaneously, strengthen the bonds in the community.
It is open to youths aged 16 to 25. For guys, there will be a Futsal competition. If you are interested in joining, form a group of 7 players (inclusive 2 reserves). For ladies, there is a Captains’ Ball competition. Form a group of 9 players (inclusive 2 reserves). The registration fee is $90 per team.
There will be stalls with drinks & snacks throughout the day as well.
The exact location is Sports Planet, @ East Coast Park (Beside Burger King & Long Beach Seafood, 1018 East Coast Service Road. The event is happening on 5th July 2008 and will start at 9am & end at 5pm.
