Aqiqah is the sacrifice made when a child is born to this world and it is also a way to show our gratitude towards Allah swt. The meat from the sacrificed animal is then cooked and offered to the poor, orphans and so on. The Aqiqah meat can also be offered in your Majlis for your own guests.

In Singapore, we can only get our meat from a few sources such as Australia / Canada due to AVA regulatory standards and because of that we often do not get the taste the meat of Aqiqah in other times of the year except during the Hajj period.

This offer provides you the option of performing the Aqiqah and also receiving the meat for your own Majlis.
However this package cannot promise you to be able to conduct the Aqiqah according to the sunnah dates as recommended by Rasulullah S.A.W as compared to "Aqiqah in Indonesia".

How many goats to sacrifice?

Rasullulah SAW said,
"Rasullulah SAW has ordered us to sacrifice two lambs for the aqiqah of a son while for a daughter the sacrifice of a lamb."
This hadith is narrated by Ibn Abi Syaiban

How this is done?
1) Upon making your order and payment made, your orders will be placed into queue until the appointed slaughtering date as we need to meet a certain number of quota to lower the costs of transportation and handling.
2) Once the animal is sacrificed, the meat is packed and transported to Singapore within a certain period.
3) The meat is then delivered to your HOME on the schedule dates.

Closing date 2nd June 2014.
Slaughtering date: 9th June 2014
Delivery date: From 14th June 2014

1: What are the aqiqah specifications for sons and daughters?

A: Aqiqah is performed for both sons and daughters as mentioned in the following hadith by Rasullulah SAW:
"The aqiqah for a son is to sacrifice two lambs whereas for a daughter is the sacrifice of one lamb."
This hadith is narrated by Ahmad & Tirmidzi.

In another hadith, Rasullulah SAW said,
"Rasullulah SAW has ordered us to sacrifice two lambs for the aqiqah of a son while for a daughter the sacrifice of a lamb."
This hadith is narrated by Ibn Abi Syaiban.

The previous hadiths can be summarized as follows:

Firstly, the aqiqah commemorates the birth of either sons or daughters.
Secondly, the difference is that the aqiqah for a son is the sacrifice of two lambs whereas it is one lamb for a daughter.
