There seems to be a notion that women in hijab are deemed to be less capable. This sometimes affects the level of confidence of these women at work. Some women also have to cope with resentment from their loved ones when they decide to cover up.
The intention of this seminar is to rehash issues that are faced by women in hijab, and to instill confidence in women who are thinking of, or have recently started donning the hijab. We believe that through our sharing, we can all be women who are pleasing to Allah's eyes at the same time empowered to emerge as tops in our various fields. We shall not use stories by others as yardsticks to that of ours. But we hope to have blessed stories of our own, InsyaAllah.
Whatever we do is lillahi ta'ala (for the sake of Allah). May the good intention of this seminar be blessed by the Al-Mighty.

Key Objectives
1. To share ways of overcoming issues faced by women in hijab
2. To impart personal grooming techniques and different styles of donning the hijab
3. To empower women with skills and knowledge of professional etiquette in hijab
Format & Speakers
The seminar will be in the format of a talk-show. Hosts and inspirational speakers of the talk-show are women who have been successful in their fields. Amongst them is a celebrity, an ustazah, a hijab stylist, a lecturer, entrepreneurs and power mummies. Look out for their trailers to know who they are. Stage will be set-up in the centre in a theatrical manner. Chairs will be arranged in concave rows. It will be a cosy and classy talk-show. Come in your most comfortable Sunday casuals.
We are calling fellow sisters with inspiring stories on their Hijab Hijrah to email us their write-ups. Inspiring stories will be featured in a book titled, 'HIJAB HIJRAH ~ 101 Stories To Inspire Your Hijab Journey. This book is championed by Aida Saini, Creative Director of Hijab Studio and supported by Rozi Faith International. The most inspiring stories stand to win something classy and inspiring, InsyaAllah.
