Death is certain and will eventually come to us whether it's today, tomorrow or in the future. How prepared are we if Allah swt wants us to return to Him?

In Islam, we are encouraged to be prepared and plan for our death as this will affect the people around us especially in this topic on “Wealth Distribution After Death”.

In the Hadith, Rasulullah saw stated that we need to do the following with our wealth and our family members that is handling our death matters should know the basics.

1) Settle all burial matters
2) Settle debts owed by others to the Deceased
3) Settle debts the Deceased owes to others and Allah swt (Zakat and Hajj Badal)
4) Settle what has been willed
5) Distributing wealth to family members

So how much do we really know about the above matters?

Do we just leave this to the experts when it is time to come or will it be too late if you discovered that most of the wealth goes to Baitulmal (Islamic Treasury) and not to the family members. And by then you question and blame the authorities. This happens when we are ignorant and don't plan towards these important matters.

Part 1: History & Fundamentals of Faraidh by Ustaz Syed Mustafa
- History of How Faraidh Comes into Place.
- How Faraidh have evolved through out history and how it is implemented in today's context.
- The Fundamentals. What should you know?

Part 2: Faraidh Calculations by Ustaz Dr Firdaus Yahya
- How much do you get for yourselves if a family member pass away?
- How much do your spouse get?
- How much do your children get?
- If you have parents, do they get anything?
- What if you don't have siblings or parents anymore, where does your wealth goes to?
- Mapping Exercise.

Part 3: Faraidh Applications Today by Ustaz Mustazah Bahari
- If you are convert, how does it affect you if your family members have not converted yet?
- Housing issues. Your family members may be forced to sell the House in order to distribute your wealth rendering your widowed spouse and children Homeless. How can we prevent this?
- Will Civil Laws overrides the Syariah Laws.
- Nuzriah, wills and other instruments as the solution for today? Is this allowed?
