The Financial Syariah Advisory Council (FSAC) of PERGAS is pleased to invite you to join our exclusive Shariah Advisor Workshop with Dr ZAharuddin Abdul Rahman which has been developed specifically with the aim equipping our participants who are Asatizah with tools and understanding of contemporary Fiqh Muamalat in today's business environment.

This program is well-matched to those Asatizah who appreciate that a comprehensive understanding of the theoretical and practical aspects of Fiqh Islamiah, as well as the advantages of able to generate innovative solutions will refine their insight in harmonizing their knowledge in Syariah Islamiah in dealing with current business and commercial issues.

This workshop will equip participants with the practical tools to effectively appreciate how contemporary Fatwas on Fiqh Muamalat was formulated and discussed amongst Islamic scholars.

One of the many aims of the Syariah Advisor workshop is to encourage our Asatizah to enhance their familiarity and comprehension of Maqasid Syariah, Qawaid Fiqh and Usul Fiqh along with the following objectives:
• Distinguish and understand how the Ulama discuss and came into conclusion between different Fatawa among various products and issues in Islamic Muamalah. Example: types insurance, MLM, investments, bond, shares, etc
• Assess the significance and essentials of Usul Fiqh, Maqasid Syariah and Qawaid Fiqhiyyah in understanding & formulating Fatawa in Islamic Muamalah issues and products
• Draw attention to current Shariah issues of products and instruments
• Evaluate conventional products and able to recognize if it is Syariah compliant
By the end of the programme participants will be groomed and able to generate innovative solutions relating to key issues and challenges in contemporary Islamic Muamalah issues.
