A cover to cover critical reading of al-imam al-nawawi's 40 hadith.
The 40 hadith of al-nawawi is accepted as one the most crucial text for students of religion.
The text covers the fundementals of Islamic teachings.
This course aims to inculcate the love for the Prophet(saw) through the study of hadith. This course also aims to develop a culture of hadith literacy in the community.
Ijazah of narration that goes back to al-nawawi will be produced after completion of course.

-twofold reference of the Quran and Sunnah
-place and position of the science of hadith in the mapping out of Islamic sciences

-historiographical survey of early works introduced to the Malay world
-the 40 hadith of al-nawawi as the bridge to the study of hadith in the Malay world
