"Disciplining the Soul" is a section of the text "Ihya' 'Ulum al-Din" ("Revival of the Religious Sciences") written by the eminent Imam Al-Ghazali (1058-1111). The speaker, Shaykh Yahya Rhodus, is a young and promising Islamic scholar who has studied under illustrious scholars like Shaykh Murabit al-Hajj, Habib Umar Bin Hafiz, Shaykh Hamza Yusuf and many more.
In this workshop, Shaykh Yahya would expound on the concepts and practices as detailed by Imam al-Ghazali in respect to the self-discipline of the soul - acquiring good character traits and curing the diseases of the heart.
