Courses

This course is an introduction to macro photography for Muslims with a view of appreciating the creation of Allah, the Creator.

Macro photography is simply close up photography and you will will learn how to shoot the small creatures of Allah, both flora and fauna. By doing so, it is hope that you can learn to appreciate Allah's creations without the need to destroy them yet enjoy them in the comfort of your home for years to come.

Details

This course is for newbies and we will teach you the basics of macro photography and is very much a hands-on course. This course will be over two Saturday sessions starting on the Saturday of the 9 May 09, and a second session on 16 May 09. Each session will be from 7.00 am to 10.30 am. It will be held at the Singapore Botanic Gardens.

Fee is a low $50 per person.

Participants are expected to bring their own cameras (DSLRs are preferred as point-and-shoot cameras can have severe limitations). Tripods, external flashes, macro lenses or close-up diopters or extension tubes are huge pluses. Participants are expected to make their own way to the venues.

Each session will be limited to 10 participants to ensure maximum attention from us.

If interested, call 9127 2304 or email [email protected].

As we do not have that many places, we encourage you to book your places with us as soon as possible.
