Habib Hasan al Kaff

Habib Hassan al Kaff was born in Surakarta, Solo. During his youth, he studied in several Pesantren in Java. In 1996, he moved to Hadramaut, Yemen to continue studies at the Darul Mustafa under the guidance of Habib Umar bin Hafiz for 6 years. After he returned to his homeland, he began teaching at several Pesantren in Central Java. Habib Hassan is known as a Munshid.

He often reads Qasidah including Burdah and Mawlid at many events including events at the Riydh Mosque in Solo, together with the late Habib Anis bin Alwi Al Ethiopia. His melodious voice has attracted listeners worldwide especially through his album 'Qasidah Burdah'. Currently, he resides in Malang, East Java.
