Najib Ali

Najip Ali is a name that is synonymous with fun and quality TV programmes. Having conceptualized and produced numerous award-winning programmes for Singapore's Suria Channel - the free-to-air Malay channel in Singapore, Najip then spread his wings into the Malay speaking regions of Malaysia and Indonesia. Working with TV stations like TV3 & 8TV of Malaysia and SCTV & Indosiar of Indonesia.

On the home front, Najip went on to explore programmes for a new target audience - kids. Seeing his flair for the colourful and entertaining, Kids Central commissioned Najip and his production house, Dua M Pte Ltd to produce a pre-school series called "KC: TV Wow!". This is then followed by 2 seasons of a second pre-school series called "In Our House". Programmes for school-going kids audience also followed with "Watch Eat!" and "No Problem".

In 2006, Najip started conceptualizing and producing kids shows for the Malay audience with the animated storytelling series, 'Cerita Kita' which is then followed by "Tahu Nahu".

In 2008, Najip started Mini Monsters - a natural progression for him and a positive step towards educating more little minds. With the motto of "Berhibur Sambil Belajar", Mini Monsters hopes to educate kids while they are having fun through its publications, DVDs, events and school courses.

Najip's return to musical theatre happened in 2009 with the much-lauded Sing Dollar. His performance as Makcik Sa'adiah earned him new fans and strengthened his reputation as a multi-talented artiste and the play earned The Best Ensemble Award in the Life Theatre Awards organised by The Straits Times.
